Wiens also tasted his first barnacle while describing that it looks like a finger nail...? Umm ok. He said that there was algae plants sticking to it, so you can tell how fresh those were plucked from the ocean. Wiens stated that the taste was in between a clam and sand paper...? Okay Mark, so you've eaten sand paper?

This video below by Travel Basecamp discussed the dangerous obstacles that fishermen go through to collect barnacles in Lagos, Portugal. The author described how the professional fishermen would either dive or tie themselves to large rocks while breaking apart the fishes that are stuck onto the rocks with a tool. He emphasized the reason why this job is dangerous because there are certain times to collect the fish because of the high winds and tide. The hosts in this video described that the barnacles tasted like an octopus.

Korean Main Dishes
AYE!
It's Wednesday so here's some Korean Main dishes coming your way!
Bibimbap
The name literally translates to "mixed rice", and it's basically a hot bowl of white rice topped with various vegetables, sliced meat, and a fried egg. It's meant to be stirred up right before eating so all the flavors can mix and mingle. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Learn how to make your very on in the video below!
When it comes to the list of smiles I want to protect, Seonkyoung longest is definitely within my top ten. Not only is this woman gorgeous, she's cute, funny, and one hell of a great chef! I personally love her channel and she's taught me how to make quite a few Asian dishes, which I am very thankful for.
Her videos are visually appealing and easy to follow. Many close ups of food are also included. Please, check her out! She's wonderful!
Korean Fried Chicken AKA Dakgangjeong
Guys.
This chicken is double fried.
DOUBLE FRIED!!!
Now before we take our heartburn medication let me explain, the chicken is seasoned with various spices, and lightly battered. After being fried twice the skin is crunchier and even LESS greasy than American fried chicken. It is finally coated with sauce (your choice) before being served.
I am a huge fan of Korean Fried Chicken myself and from my experience, it has always been crunchier on the outside and jucier on the inside than other styles of fried chicken. Definitely give this one a chance.
Maangchi is honestly so adorable and captivating. She looks cute in pretty much every video she makes. But fashion choices aside, she makes great cooking videos as well. Check out her channel if you want to explore more Korean Recipes!
Bulgogi
Now this one translates to "fire meat" because the marinated meat, usually pork or beef, is cooked on a barbecue or griddle. Sounds simple, but aren't those the best things in life?
Jia Choi is a sweet woman and does an awesome job in showing you how to make your own bulgogi. The crisp chopping, and sweet sizzling sounds of this video make trigger your ASMR senses, so that's a possible plus! Check out this channel to see more chefs and recipes!
And that's it for today folks! Hope you enjoyed the dishes we talked about today and remember to follow us to keep up with our latest posts! Thanks for reading and have a good day!

Vietnamese Main Dishes
Hello everyone!
It's Wednesday so it's time to talk about some Vietnamese Main Dishes! As a Viet person myself, I can say that I'm super excited about this week's theme. X3
Let's jump right into it!
Bún riêu
This is a traditional Vietnamese meat, rice vermicelli soup this is often served with tomato broth and freshwater crab. It is also topped with various garnishes such as spearmint, bean sprouts, scallions and so much more. Learn how to make it in the video below!
Bún thịt nướng
This pretty much translates to vermicelli with grilled meat, and LORD, it is delicious. What I love most about this dish is how filling, yet light it is. You get all the flavor from the grilled pork and fish sauce, but you also get the fresh, crisp taste of all the fresh herbs mixed into it. Put it all together and you get a dish that fresh, flavorful, and fragrant with every bite!
Helen, please tone it down with the foodnographic images before you get flagged for adult content on Youtube!
Or maybe not. I really appreciate all this close up shots of food and I'm sure everyone else will too.
What are you waiting for?! Go learn how to make your own sexy bún thịt nướng!
Bánh canh cua
Bánh canh is basically a THICC Vietnamese noodle made out of tapioca flour. Bánh canh CUA, however, is a crab soup that is served with these noodles and it is also hella THICC. This one is a personal favorite of mine and you can learn make it in the video below!
