Chinese Breakfast Choices For American

Chinese Breakfast Choices For American
What breakfast should eat when you travel in China as a American? As a Chinese international student who has studied in America over four years, I learn a lot of what flavors and dishes American like about Chinese cuisine from my local friends. For example, most of American like sweet and sour flavor when they are eating Chinese dishes, and they like dishes come from south part of China more than north. According to those knowledge, I am ready to give you some solid advice about how to choice Chinese Break.

First of all, "Baozi" is my favorite breakfast. I often introduce this food to my American friends as Chinese hamburger. Baozi has many different types. The exterior of Baozi is made by dough, you can put anything in it, like meat, vegetables, surge, beans, and so on. Then it will be steamed. Most American would like sweet Baozi. They are not only looks good but also delicious.
Secondly, boiled eggs with tea is a breakfast seems easy to make, but skilled chief will make it way better tasty than normal one. Making right soup to boil eggs is the key. Basically, the soup is made by hot water, tea, soy, and other seasonings, but how to balance them needs experiences to find out.
Lastly, there must a drink to be part of Chinese breakfast. Most people would think tea is that drink same as American like drinking coffee in the morning. Unfortunately, that is not true. We drink soybean milk as part of breakfast.

Traditional Indian Breakfast

What does Indian food look like?

Today, I will show you a guy who cooks traditional Indian breakfast in a village. All his materials for cooking are picked from the village field. This breakfast has two dishes. They are Besan Cheela (gram flour pancake) and "indian milk".

I will teach you how to cook them. Fistly, Besan Cheela, go find a field where has fresh onions, carlic, chilli, and fenugreek (most people can not because they are living in cities lol). If not , get them from supermarket. Then cut them to small pieces. Next, mixing gram flour, salt, cumin seed, and those "pieces" with water. Finally, put them on a flat hot pot and bake them until they are have little "black" on it. Do not forgot to put a little bit of oil. Secondly, "Indian milk", this is my first time know that milk can be cooked like that. Putting raw milk to a pot. Then adding tea, suger, ginger and boil them. Finally, it needs to be filter to a cup.

One food plus one drink makes a perfect traditional Indian food. Also, most real Indian people do eat breakfast like this in the country side. I like what this video maker said: we are happy with our real life, we don't need to fake it or show off to anyone".

Japanese Breakfast !

What does a Japanese Breakfast look like?

People are familiar with some Japanese foods like Sushi, Teriyaki, or Sashimi. They are very delicious, but we do not eat them in the morning. Very few people know what Japanese people eat during the morning time. Do you have the same question? If so, let me reveal it for you.

A Japanese breakfast usually has five courses. It is a lot, but they are small dishes. First dish that, Life Where I'm From introduces is the TAMAGOYAKI (Japanese Omelette) by grilling the mixed eggs and a little bit of milk and make it roll. You would have to roll it very softly in order to not break it. Second, is MISO SHIRO (Miso Soup). Then put spinach, tofu, fish broth flakes and fermented soybean paste (Miso) into the boiled water. Thirdly, you add the TAKO-SANUINA, which is a mini sausage but octopus style. Fourth is rice. Last dish is NATTO. It is a mix of fermented soybean and soy souse and fish broth. You need to mix them until they become a white color.

The above five dishes are what a Japanese eats in the morning, I like them. What about you?
