The
most exciting part of a meal!!
Yes,
you guessed it right it’s dessert time. Most people like to travel abroad
during warmer period, and if you are planning a trip to japan or just visiting
a Japanese restaurant here in the states, we got the perfect cold dessert for
you. Everyone likes to have something sweet after eating a good meal and today
we are covering a traditional dessert from japan called “ Fruit cream Anmitsu”.
It
is made of a translucent jelly (Red Algae or Agar) mixed with water to become
jelly. Secondly you add red bean paste, mochi, served with brown sugar syrup and
optionally ice cream. I mainly chose it because you can add colorful and juicy
fruits of your choice such as grapes, peach, Pineapple, Mandarin, Kiwi etc.
